Thanks Be to God

Following Dr. Bill Hoyt's surgery, here is his update:

I have often said over the years, “When my doctor is happy, I am happy.” I have an exceedingly happy surgeon.

He kept smiling and saying over and over, “We accomplished everything we set out to do.” Top on his list was to get all the cancer out of my body with no need for radiation follow-up. Second on his list was to minimize the facial nerve and cosmetic damage. God is so good. He has spared me from cancer twice now; I am grateful beyond measure. I want more time with Gwyn. I want to see my grandchildren grow up and I want to be an influence for God in their lives. And I want to continue to make a difference for Christ and His Kingdom.

Once again, I have been reminded of life’s top priorities. Thank you for caring. Thank you for praying. I have felt deeply loved and unbelievably supported in prayer. I believe the wonderful outcome is the result of prayer. You have been there for me and I am grateful.
