Changes on the SPEEDway

While it’s been said that all good things come to an end, good things can still continue. When I accepted the position as Interim Director of Children’s Ministry at Santa Clara First Baptist, I knew it would not last forever and prayed for God to bring just the right person to take over this vital ministry when it was time for me to depart.

NEW LEADERSHIP

I am thrilled to report that effective November 1^st Margareth Valui (Pastor Valui’s wife) will become Family Life Pastor at SCFBC, overseeing SPEEDway Children’s Ministry. Margareth has a Master’s Degree in youth ministry along with years of experience in leading children, youth and family ministries in the churches where she and her husband have served. We are blessed to have someone of her caliber take the reigns of this vital ministry.

I will be working with Margareth the first week of November to show her what is already in place so there can be a smooth transition of leadership that will benefit the SPEEDway children and our wonderful volunteer team who serve them. Please pray for Margareth and the Valui family as they get settled in this area and begin their ministry at SCFBC.
