The Summer trimester begins on May 22 through August 13. Sign-up starts on May 8, Mother's Day. In summer, we will continue to GROW with God, the Church, and Our Purpose. For that, we need to place ourselves in the right environment. Just like a tree planted by the rivers of water. We also need to surround ourselves with the right people to thrive.
SMALL-GROUP IMPACT (Leading Small Groups that Thrive - Hartwig, Davis, and Sniff):
Community: "These people are becoming my friends on a deep level, which I crave. We care for each other, pray for one another, and hold each other accountable. These are real friendships, and we can talk about it all - the minor surface stuff and the deep, sometimes ugly stuff, too."
Strengthened Faith: "Studying with them helps me with learning and applying God's truth to my life."
Deeper Biblical Knowledge: "My small group increases my knowledge of the Word, faith, and my belief system."
Spiritual Discipline: "It is a meaningful and purposeful mid-week moment to focus on Christ in a crazy, hectic world."
Accountability: "They keep me accountable and encourage me."
ROOTED RECAP: We invested the winter/spring trimester in being Rooted to connect with God, The Church, and Your Purpose. The Yo Pro group celebrated the end of the trimester together with a picnic on the beach accompanied by a Rooted study, beach exploration, and kite flying! It is fun to do Life together! The Rooted group led by Greg and Sharon did a service project by helping Ms. Kim, our Preschool Director, give a deep clean to our Preschool room. Thank you!
