Answering The Great Commandment And Commission—The Gospel of Mark.
How can we nurture our spiritual growth, strengthen our relationships with God and those around us, and embrace an abundant life— a rich, fulfilling, and meaningful life?
Here is the fundamental idea behind my sermon:
God intends for humans to experience abundant life through a deep and meaningful relationship with Him. The relentless skepticism and uncertainty wear us down as we struggle to find an answer to the promise of an abundant life. The answer can be found in following Jesus and fulfilling the Great Commandment and Commission.
Here’s The Problem:
People Say—
Jesus was 100% fake and 100% hoax. Jesus Christ is fake because many stories of Jesus Christ are rewritten to match the greed of the institutions that run under his name. The story of his resurrection is fake. His crucifixion never happened.
How We Respond Matters
For those who adhere to the teachings of Jesus, it's imperative to provide convincing explanations or compelling motivations for individuals who think Jesus is fake to connect with their faith; otherwise, we should all go home.
Another Problem:
We might face a lengthy wait if we expect individuals experiencing personal turmoil or crises to attend church. Many people who are content with their lives might choose not to participate in church activities. They lead successful lives without a solid connection to religion or God.
What do we do?
What Did Jesus offer?
We must address the barriers that prevent people from encountering Jesus and His message.
Jesus provided an answer for various groups, including the wealthy, rulers, religious figures, the impoverished, the powerful, and the vulnerable, as well as both men and women, encompassing both Jews and Gentiles.
Solution In The Gospel of Mark
The solution to the barriers and challenges is "Answering The Great Commandments and Commission."
