The "GROW" Sermon Series

The upcoming sermon series is designed to help you GROW in faith and to mature both in your knowledge of Scripture and in your daily Christian living. We will study the Book of Acts to learn how the early Christians lived out the teachings of Jesus in their daily lives. The stories of the first believers in the Book of Acts offer timeless directions on how to live a life that is pleasing to God.

Everything Was New

For the first time, the early Church believers were without Jesus. So they had to live out the teachings of Jesus by encouraging and loving one another.

New Method, New Model

The early Church leaders and believers had no method or model to follow. Everything they did to spread the Gospel, as Jesus had instructed them to do, was new to them.

Almost No Money

The early Church believers had very little money, no buildings, and no "network" to accomplish what Jesus instructed them to do.

No Technology

The early Church had no technology to deliver the Good News. It was an amazing feat that they were able to spread the Good News from Jerusalem all the way to Rome. The stories in the Book of Acts continue to guide us and give us direction on how to live the teachings of Jesus Christ in our daily lives.
