Multiply 2024

Multiply: Disciple-Maker Series is centered around three fundamental principles: Following Jesus, Becoming Like Jesus, and Doing What Jesus Did.

The Radical Call By Jesus The Rabbi

April 7, 2024 - Pastor Wungreiso Valui

"Come, follow me," Jesus said, "and I will send you out to fish for people." At once they left their nets and followed him. Jesus was a Rabbi. Are we willing to embrace the radical teachings of Jesus, recognizing him as the ultimate Rabbi, the embodiment of the way, the truth and the life?

The Cost Of Following Jesus

April 14, 2024 - Pastor Wungreiso Valui

Then he called the crowd to him along with his disciples and said: "Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me and for the gospel will save it." Do we have the courage and faith to answer Jesus' call? - Peter left his fishing business. - Paul left his religious power. - Matthew left his lucrative financial business - What are you leaving behind?

The Power of Faith in Jesus

April 21, 2024 - Pastor Dan Griffith

"‘If you can'?" said Jesus. "Everything is possible for one who believes." Jesus demonstrates unwavering faith and teaches his disciples to trust in God's provision and sovereignty. Mark 11:22-24 (NIV) - "Have faith in God,' Jesus answered. 'Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, "Go, throw yourself into the sea," and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.'"

The Way Of Jesus

April 28, 2024 - Pastor Margareth Valui

For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many. Incorporate the actionable steps of Jesus into your life. By following his example you can strive to follow the way of Jesus as exemplified in Mark 10:45.

Apprentice: Who Am I Becoming

May 5, 2024 - Pastor Wungreiso Valui

"But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed." — Luke 5:16 Prioritize Your Time: Becoming Like Your Rabbi We are all evolving, becoming someone, becoming something. Prioritize who you spend time with, as they shape who you become.

Christlikeness: Prayer and Seeking God's Will

May 12, 2024 - Pastor Wungreiso Valui

"One of those days Jesus went out to a mountainside to pray, and spent the night praying to God." — Luke 6:12 Just as Jesus withdrew to pray and discern God's will, we are called to imitate His example by carving out intentional time for prayer and reflection.

No Accidental Disciples: Compassion for Others

May 19, 2024 - Pastor Jonathan Fung

"When Jesus landed and saw a large crowd, he had compassion on them and healed their sickness." — Luke 9:11 Compassion isn't an accidental trait; it's a deliberate choice. Imitate Jesus' example, ensuring that compassion becomes not just an occasional occurrence but an integral part of our lives.

Walking in His Footsteps: Forgiveness and Love

May 26, 2024 - Pastor Richard Reaves

"Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing." — Luke 23:34a Walking in the footsteps of Jesus' forgiveness and love allows individuals to experience personal transformation, promote healing and reconciliation in relationships.

Preaching the Gospel

June 2, 2024 - Pastor Wungreiso Valui

From that time on Jesus began to preach, 'Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.'

Demonstrating the Gospel

June 9, 2024 - Pastor Wungreiso Valui

"And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease among the people. Then His fame went throughout all Syria; and they brought to Him all sick people who were afflicted with various diseases and torments, and those who were demon-possessed, epileptics, and paralytics; and He healed them." Jesus demonstrated the gospel by healing and deliverance, demonstrating his authority over sickness and evil spirits.

Jesus Traveled Beyond Borders

June 16, 2024 - Pastor Dan Griffith

"Then Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people." Jesus traveled throughout Galilee, Judea, and beyond, preaching, teaching, and healing people from various ailments.

Space for the Gospel: Hospitality

June 23, 2024 - Pastor Margareth Valui

"While Jesus was having dinner at Matthew's house, many tax collectors and sinners came and ate with him and his disciples. When the Pharisees saw this, they asked his disciples, 'Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?' On hearing this, Jesus said, 'It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.' For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.'" Matthew 9:10-13 illustrates Jesus' approach to hospitality and his mission to share the gospel with everyone, regardless of their social status or reputation. By dining with tax collectors and sinners, Jesus demonstrated radical inclusivity and showed that he came to save those who are lost and in need of redemption.

Jesus' Example of Service

June 30, 2024 - Pastor Wungreiso Valui

"Just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many."
